Not only are Assisted Nature looking out for your best interests when it comes to helping you achieve pregnancy, but they are also looking out for your psychological well-being. Having a baby through IVF treatment can be a very taxing experience, especially when it comes to needing to utilise donor eggs or sperm, and they understand this. So they have a whole host of services available to you, in order to help you psychologically and ensure you are mentally prepared for everything the treatment involves. They offer counselling for both you one on one, and couple counselling if you wish to do it with your partner, as well as for single mothers and egg donors. These psychological services are available to you at any point during your treatment. With all of this available it shows that the clinic is looking out for your best interests and has your health in mind.
One of the main reasons for offering psychological services is due to it being hard on women when they need to rely on an egg donor in order to fall pregnant.
Endometrial and ovarian PRP at Assisting Nature
Assisting Nature also offers innovative treatments to aid individuals and couples in their journey towards conception. One such treatment is Endometrial PRP, priced at €900, which involves injecting platelet-rich plasma into the endometrium to enhance its thickness and quality, potentially increasing the chances of embryo implantation. Another advanced treatment offered is Ovarian PRP, costing €1,500, where platelet-rich plasma is injected into the ovaries with the aim of rejuvenating the ovarian tissue and improving ovarian function, which may help in increasing egg production and enhancing fertility. These treatments are part of Assisting Nature’s comprehensive approach to tackling various fertility issues, employing cutting-edge medical technology to improve reproductive outcomes.

“I and my wife have used the services of at least 4 IVF clinics and received consultations from others, both in the United Kingdom and Greece. I dare say IVF care in UK is in the medieval ages compared to that in Greece (this comparison could expand to other areas in private health care really); it is not about value-for-money, it mainly is about the expertise, commitment, personalisation and effort provided. Assisting Nature is by far ahead of any clinics we used in the UK, and one of the top (if not the ultimate best) in Greece; I and my wife are in our 40s and we consider ourselves extremely lucky and thankful for having been referred to this clinic, because after years of unsuccessful IVF attempts with other clinics, we now go through our 2nd trimester of our pregnancy. And that was not just luck. Dr Papanikolaou, apart from having top academic qualifications, he is a skilled gynaecological surgeon; he has the competency and confidence to perform difficult and risky operations (one of the hysteroscopies in our case) with success. Unlike past previous clinics, where they wouldn’t even be able to see a wide-base polyp, and those who did wouldn’t have the skill or dare taking the risk of removing it. If it wasn’t for Dr Papanikolaou, we’d still be trying… The entire Assisting Nature clinic team of doctors / embryologists, nurses, midwives and admin staff have simply been brilliant. The personnel is highly trained (each in their field), dedicated and supportive. The team is supported by cutting-edge hardware and the latest medical / embryology lab equipment. I’d highly recommend this clinic, especially to women from the United Kingdom (or anywhere in the world!) Dr Papanikolaou and team thank you so much, we appreciate your efforts for helping us achieve success!!!”

Thank you for the effort we make and which has been crowned with success so far as despite my difficult case, we have managed to collect two beautiful and chromosomally healthy blastocysts. I wish of course the second half of our joint effort to be crowned with success. A big thank you to the embryologist of the center Mrs. Timotheos for her also excellent scientific training. I have not felt so far to be a number, because the approach is always personalized. I also thank the midwives and the secretariat staff for their professionalism. The race continues and we will win it thanks to your help! Thank you!”

Egg donors at Assisting Nature
At Assisting Nature, they have strict guidelines on what requirements each donor needs to meet to donate.
20-32. Donors must be between 20 and 32, to ensure the health and fertility of the eggs.
Educated. All donors must possess a high-school diploma, although the clinic prefers those with college degrees.
No history of drug abuse. This is to ensure that no external and illegal substances will have interfered with the eggs, although they will be tested thoroughly to ensure this is the case.
No STIs. They must never have contracted an STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection), even if it has been treated successfully. This is something that can also impact egg quality.
Good health. All donors must be in good health and must also be non-smokers. The healthier the donor the better the quality of the eggs.

Clinic has provided the Statement of Truth
We really care about the quality of the information presented on our website.
To make sure that all data provided by clinics is correct - we ask clinics to confirm all data by
"Statement of Truth". The document is signed off by clinic's representatives, scanned and
attached below.
Fresh donor oocytes were used for fertilization with donor or partner's sperm.
Frozen donor eggs Donor oocytes from egg bank were thawed before fertilization with donor or partner's sperm.
Note: As statistics shown in various sources (ESHRE, SART) on average the value of success rate when using frozen eggs may be 10% lower than with fresh eggs.
Embryo transfer day and number of embryos
Embryo transfer day Many clinics prefer to transfer embryos on day 5 at the blastocyst stage as it may lead to better outcomes of an IVF program.
Number of embryos to transfer International and national medical organizations including ASRM, SART and ESHRE discourage the transfer of a large number of embryos because of the increased likelihood of multiple-fetus pregnancies. Multiple-fetus pregnancies, in turn, increase the probability of premature births and related health problems.
Worth to know:
We encourage IVF Clinics to present success rates per cycle rather than per patient. We also ask clinics not to include any frozen embryo transfers in success rates calculation.
Please bear in mind that including frozen embryo transfers (FET) in statistics may increase the overall value of success rates - however at the same time it will increase the cost of the IVF treatment. IVF Clinics usually do not include frozen embryo transfer costs in their programs. That means that if you have any embryos left - the treatment will cost you more than advertised by the clinic.
IVF Success Rates
The way IVF success rates are calculated may vary from clinic to clinic. Calculating and presenting success rates by clinics is a common "communication" issue as clinics try to advertise the best values on their websites.
IVF success rates are usually calculated as a percentage of clinical pregnancies dividing the number of favorable results such as number clinical pregnancies by the number of procedures performed such as a number of embryo transfers, according to the following formula:
"number of pregnancies or number of live births / number of embryo transfers"
You should be aware that the success of IVF treatment is the sum of different factors and circumstances, only few of which depend on the clinic itself. The latter are surely the experience and professionalism of the medical staff as well as offered IVF treatments that allow particular types of patients (with either lower or higher chances of a successful pregnancy).
However, in majority of cases it is your individual situation, condition and medical history that influence the result of the treatment. Your age, genetic factors or various reasons for infertility play a crucial role in determining the IVF success.
Contact in person the clinics you’re interested in and discuss your own perspectives on IVF success instead of studying success rates advertised on clinic's websites.
If you'd like to now more about egg donation success rates please refer to this article:
Here you'll find basic information about the program and the sum of additional costs that are required to carry out the treatment.
The "Additional costs" mean that there are additional costs to cover on top of the advertised program price. You may find these costs in the "Included in program and additional costs" tab below.
Popup - Basic guarantees:
Guarantees refer to number of donor eggs (oocytes) included in the program, number of embryos which are guaranteed on day 3 or day 5 at the blastocyst stage.
Important:
When the clinic offers an embryo guarantee, the basic requirement is good quality partner’s sperm. Usually IVF clinics use WHO standards to assess the sperm parameters. If this is the case, make sure you ask the clinic which particular standards are being applied and what parameters are taken into account. Some fertility clinics apply their own standards. Make sure you ask what happens, if despite good sperm parameters, you will not receive the guaranteed number of embryos.
What does it mean?
Here you will find all the options that are included in the program and those that are necessary to carry out the IVF program but at an additional cost.
All procedures/services which are not included have additional costs that you will have to cover apart from the costs of the Program.
What does it mean?
Other procedures and services that are possible to perform at the Clinic at additional cost.
Remember the decision to use medical services should be made after consulting your doctor.
Refund based on outcome
IVF Refund Program is a term used for financial IVF programs. They give the patient access to two or three IVF cycles for one payment. Usually fresh embryo transfers and extra frozen embryo transfers are included in the price.
A multi-cycle IVF refund program means that the treatment continues until the desired result. It may refer to either clinical pregnancy or a live birth – or until all of the program’s cycles are completed. If the IVF program ends successfully, the clinic will not return your money. However, if you don’t achieve your goal, you can count on a partial or full refund of the costs.
